Faiths United to Prevent Gun Violence is a diverse coalition of denominations and faith-based organizations - including include Jewish, Sikh, and Christian partners - united by the call of their faiths to confront America’s gun violence epidemic and to rally support for policies that reduce death and injury from gunfire.
They support immediate legislative action to accomplish the following:
1. Require criminal background checks for all gun sales
2. Ban military-style assault weapons & high-capacity magazines
3. Make gun trafficking a federal crime.
